Description
As a Manager, Electrical Hardware Engineering - HPC/AI at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, you will provide direct and ongoing leadership for an organization of multiple individual contributors designing and developing engineering solutions and managing projects for electrical and electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuitry, and algorithms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing headcount, deliverables, schedules, and costs for multiple ongoing projects and programs
- Engaging with program managers, marketing, supply chain, technical leaders, and executives to communicate program status and guide strategic decision-making
- Managing relationships with outsourced partners and suppliers
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost reductions
- Providing overall people-care management for direct reports, including hiring, setting performance plans, coaching, and career development
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- 10+ years of engineering or related industry experience
- 5+ years of direct people management experience
- Strong leadership skills, proven project management skills, and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluency in English
