Description
We are seeking a BIM Technician - Electrical to join our team.
The successful candidate will prepare MEP 3D BIM coordinated models, perform clash detection and resolution, create parametric BIM families, and provide specialist support to design teams.
Responsibilities:
- Support design and bid teams with 3D visualizations and 4D model creation
- Prepare quantities for use in BoQs from the 3D model
Qualifications:
- Good English communication skills
- Ability to work closely with senior colleagues
- Computer literacy
- Valid passport and willingness to be seconded to the UK for up to 3 months
- Experience in Windows environments, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and web-enabled applications
- Lateral thinking and ability to understand software limitations
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical engineering and draughting qualifications preferred
- 5+ years of production experience in design, drafting, and engineering
Key Competencies/Skills:
- Essential: BIM MEP, AutoCAD (2D and 3D), Navisworks
- Desirable: Autodesk 3ds MAX, MS Excel, MS Word
