Description
Join the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst. You will serve as a finance partner supporting sales leaders targeting large corporations, providing financial support and driving business insights.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide financial support and drive business insights for sales leaders
- Maintain and develop financial models and analytical tools for key decision-making
- Build, manage, and automate business processes to help leaders understand progress and strategic insights
- Develop financial and operational metrics and drive their adoption
- Perform ad-hoc analysis, write financial documents, and support cross-functional projects
Basic qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy
- 3+ years of experience dissecting financial data to identify patterns that support business strategy
Preferred qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience participating in continuous improvement projects
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos)
- Experience in financial modeling, P&L management, or analysis
- 4+ years of experience identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve finance or business tools and processes
