Description
IQVIA's Speaker Bureau team plans and manages compliant meetings and events for Life Sciences organizations. The Manila Speaker Bureau Logistics Planner coordinates meeting logistics, communicates with vendors, and ensures compliance with client rules.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the client Core Team to plan and deliver meeting logistics
- Coordinate venue, food and beverage, and audio-visual needs for meetings
- Confirm and secure location/venue bookings, applying venue compliance and business rules
- Plan and confirm food and beverage needs for sales reps, speakers, and attendees
- Review and secure audio-visual needs for meetings
- Coordinate with meeting planners, speaker bureau planners, and vendors
- Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to service level deliverables
- Apply client business and compliance rules throughout the planning process
- Identify and escalate potential risks to meeting compliance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of events planning and/or customer service experience
- Previous work experience in catering to US clients, preferably in a phone-based Customer Service role
- Relevant events or meeting planning experience preferred
- Pharma Industry experience a plus
- Familiarity with US cultural norms and practices
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- Proficiency in PC applications, Microsoft Office suite, and Outlook
- Knowledge in SharePoint, Salesforce, and Smartsheet preferred
- Ability to carry out analysis and information gathering to resolve problems
- Able to work during US standard business hours and be flexible on work schedule
- Ability to multi-task and plan numerous meetings simultaneously
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong sense of urgency and problem-solving abilities
