Join our Bus, Transit & Fleet team as an Electrical Designer / Estimator, contributing to projects that transform transit and fleet infrastructure.
In this role, you'll develop electrical systems for transit, fleet, and related infrastructure projects, focusing on low- and medium-voltage distribution, EV charging, solar PV integration, communications, and sustainability-driven design.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop electrical designs from preliminary studies through detailed engineering
- Prepare CAD and Revit drawings, including site plans and single-line diagrams
- Apply low- and medium-voltage electrical distribution principles to electrical infrastructure designs
- Prepare electrical equipment and installation specifications
- Develop cost estimates and conduct site electrical evaluations
- Analyze bids and tender documents
Requirements:
- Diploma as an Engineering Technologist or equivalent qualification
- 3+ years of relevant electrical design and drafting experience
- 3+ years of cost-estimating experience
- Strong knowledge of 600 V and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems
- Experience using CAD and/or Revit
- Professional proficiency in English

Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $92,000 - $121,900
- MB & ON: $84,000 - $115,600
- NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $83,100 - $110,400
