As a Pharmacy Technician working in our Mail Order Pharmacy team in Mount Prospect, IL, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patients receive their medications in a timely manner. You will work in a closed-door pharmacy setting, collaborating with a team of talented individuals under the supervision of Team Leads and Pharmacy Supervisors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manually filling or packing refrigerated and ambient temperature medicines
- Filling medicines for automated machines or packing orders using automated packing machinery
- Supporting the shipping handler department, including manually metering packages and placing them for sorting and shipment
Schedule: Sunday: 2pm-12:25am Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: 3pm-1:25am
Requirements:
- Apply for an Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- Ability to stand for extended periods, reach, twist, turn, bend, stoop, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds
- Detail-focused and task-oriented
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Work mandatory overtime when needed
- Pass the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam by December 31st of your 2nd IL Pharmacy Technician License renewal
Preferred Qualifications:
- Formal Pharmacy Technician training
- Pharmacy Technician experience
- Certified Pharmacy Technician prior to 2024
Education:
- Verifiable High School Diploma (or equivalent) required

Pay Range: $17.00 - $31.30
