Job Overview We're seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team in our Tennessee CVS Pharmacy location. In this part-time role, you'll assist pharmacists, manage pharmacy workstations, and provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications and performing pharmacy-related tasks
- Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to ensure prompt and accurate filling of patient prescriptions
- Provide caring and genuine service to patients and customers
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to regulatory compliance standards
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Licensure requirements vary by state
- Strong attention and focus, customer service orientation, communication skills, mathematical reasoning, and problem resolution skills
- Ability to stand for long periods, move about on foot, and lift up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
