Description
Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is seeking an Analyst to join their team. As an Analyst, you will perform due diligence assessments, create threat management reports, and provide research and expertise to the national security community, the US military, law enforcement, and the private sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site client support, including client inquiries, requests for ad hoc reporting, and advice on analytic methods.
- Conduct in-depth analysis using public records, proprietary data, social media data, and other open source data to provide insightful guidance to clients.
- Develop expertise in TRSS proprietary data and technology solutions and effectively communicate actionable insights through various media.
- Collaborate with client managers and TRSS Analysts to develop strong practices in a fast-paced environment.
- Participate in analytic development, mentorship, training, and developing best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in research and analysis, public records, open source, and/or social media data.
- Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred.
- Experience conducting investigative research and analysis to identify risks, relationships, patterns, and areas of concern.
- Familiarity with analyzing complex networks, organizational structures, and associations among individuals and entities.
- Strong reading and formal writing skills, with demonstrated ability in composition and source evaluation.
- U.S. Citizenship essential.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. national security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting federal government agencies, law enforcement, national security, or other mission-driven clients.
- Experience with link analysis, data visualization, geospatial analysis, or other advanced analytic techniques.
- Familiarity with legal, regulatory, or investigative processes and handling sensitive information.
