Omada Health is on a mission to bend the curve of chronic disease. The Senior Engineering Manager, Co-Intelligent Coaching role owns a significant piece of Omada's Co-Intelligent Coaching, focusing on building the future of coaching support.
The successful candidate will own the member experience that runs around the clock, handled by AI, and free human coaches to focus on high-value tasks. They will lead squads that own problems from prototype to production, including maintenance and on-call rotations.
Key responsibilities:
- Own the member experience and handoff to human coaches
- Own delivery across squads, including sprint shaping, prioritization, and backlog grooming
- Improve cycle time while maintaining quality
- Stay technical and review architecture, designs, and incidents
- Partner with Product Strategists to ensure alignment
- Grow and develop managers and engineers
- Plan the team's growth and headcount
- Set the AI standard and measure its adoption
Requirements:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years of managing engineers directly
- Experience developing leaders and growing engineers
- Track record of shipping mission-critical software to production
- Experience with prioritization, estimation, and giving developmental feedback
- Currently shipping or recently shipped production code in at least one layer of the stack
- Comfort with expert-generalist team models and AI-assisted development
