Description
Our Consulting Engineers are an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team delivering Lifecycle Services to our customers. We combine the power of Cisco Analytics and Knowledge with outstanding technical expertise and consulting to drive value, innovation, and adoption in our customer's network.
As a Consulting Engineer, you will help drive the effort to transform our current and future architecture for our customers. You will engage with customers to create value and deliver outcomes, adoption, and renewals. You will provide Day-2 support on Cisco products and solutions for customers, leveraging technical expertise, AI and automation, strategic guidance, and innovative solutions to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to create value and deliver outcomes, adoption, and renewals
- Provide Day-2 support on Cisco products and solutions for customers
- Demonstrate expertise across technologies, developing specialized insight in a sector or domain
- Serve as a focal point for proactive problem resolution, providing timely support across Cisco technologies
- Lead strategy and optimization of Cisco services and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer goals
- Develop and deliver technical content and guidance that supports customer engagements
- Create customer-facing documentation, ensuring deliverables are technically sound and clearly articulated
- Leverage AI and automation to enhance delivery efficiency, innovation, and customer outcomes
- Contribute to knowledge sharing and the development of digital intellectual capital
- Build leadership presence through regular customer engagements and participation in industry events
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science or Information Technology
- 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience and good knowledge in routing and switching protocols
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and experience in Cisco Routing and switching Platforms
- Good experience in one of the SDN technologies (Cisco SDA/ACI)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to influence, motivate, and work in a highly cross-functional matrix environment
- Prior experience of conducting customer workshops and high-level and low-level network design experience
- Experience in ND/NDFC/UCS products
- AL/ML and Network automation skills (Python/Ansible/GoLang/Splunk)
