Join Linklaters LLP as a Legal Project Manager in Luxembourg.
As a Legal Project Manager, you will support the delivery of matters, incorporating key project management tasks such as planning, pricing, coordination, reporting, financial and budget management, risk tracking, client liaison, and post-matter review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain matter plans, budgets, risk registers, reporting frameworks, and other project management tools
- Advise matter teams on how to use LPM, Matter Optimisation services, and LegalTech solutions to improve matter delivery
- Deliver and actively manage LegalTech solutions on matters within the Luxembourg office and across global teams
- Work with LegalTech product leads and relevant business teams to coordinate effective matter support
- Identify opportunities to involve other Matter Optimisation delivery teams and resources
- Conduct matter take-on conversations to understand requirements and advise on LPM support
- Join relevant internal and attend global or regional Matter Optimisation meetings
- Proactively identify risks, issues, scope changes, and delivery challenges
Practical Experience and Skills:
- Law, economics, or equivalent degree with at least 2 years' experience in a professional environment
- Experience managing client-focused legal projects or matters
- Strong commercial awareness, numeracy, and understanding of matter economics
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, practical messages
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Track record of contributing ideas and supporting continuous improvement
- Project management qualification desirable
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Fluency in English; fluency in a second language such as German or French preferred
