Telepharmacy Technician

CVS Health is seeking a Telepharmacy Technician to join their team. As a Telepharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for all daily pharmacy operations, with Pharmacist oversight occurring from a separate Supervising Pharmacy location.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations, execution, and performance while delivering operational and service excellence
• Oversee the safe and secure operation of the Remote Dispensing Pharmacy
• Follow pharmacy workflow procedures at each pharmacy workstation
• Complete tasks related to controlled substance prescription fulfillment
• Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care
• Complete inventory activities, as permitted by law
• Participate in a high-performing team and seek opportunities to expand clinical and technical knowledge
• Remain flexible for both scheduling and business needs
• Serve as a peer mentor for the onboarding, training, and development of new hires
• Understand and comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical principles

Requirements:

• National Certification (PTCB or ExCPT)
• State-level licensure requirements vary by state
• 1+ years full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus, Customer Service and Team Orientation, Communication Skills, Mathematical Reasoning, Problem Resolution, and Physical Demands

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
• Advanced Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT-Adv)
• Ability to become immunization certified
• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
