Description
Diageo is seeking a Quality Team Lead to oversee the day-to-day quality operations of their new manufacturing and warehousing facility in Montgomery, Alabama.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that Diageo's products are produced in compliance with government regulations, ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 and corporate requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assuring safety of employees
- Management of assigned Quality Technicians on night shifts
- Ensuring daily compliance of the production operation to corporate, regulatory and governmental requirements
- Providing day-to-day decision-making and leadership to assure issues impacting Food Safety and Quality of product are addressed appropriately
- Support of the Diageo Innovation, Brand Change and Supply Optimization agenda
- Development and implementation of processes and programs to improve the quality performance of the site
The ideal candidate will have:
- 4-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Packaging, Chemistry or related field
- Strong communication, writing, organization and analytical skills
- Ability to effect change within a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and management background
- Knowledge of TTB and State regulations pertaining to the production of alcohol beverages
- Flexibility to work nights and cover assigned weekend shifts
Diageo offers a highly competitive Rewards and Benefits package, including a salary range of $73,388 to $122,313 per annum.
