As a Trading Manager at Morrisons, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our shelves are fully stocked, providing a fantastic shopping experience for our customers.
You will report directly to the Store Manager and lead your team to deliver market-leading product availability, run smooth promotional events, and ensure every aisle is safe, legal, and ready for trade.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading your team to deliver outstanding shopping experiences, planning promotions, and acting on customer feedback
- Managing shift rotas, attendance, and talent development, delivering training to colleagues
- Driving performance and availability, guiding colleagues to work with purpose against operational and sales targets
- Planning resources, managing daily team routines, and building strong working relationships with other store departments

To be successful in this role, you should have experience leading and supporting a team in a fast-paced environment, be confident in running shifts and handling daily trading priorities, and be able to step up as Manager in Charge when required. You should also be able to build strong, supportive teams, listen and adapt to customer and colleague feedback, and keep a firm grip on the basics, including safety, stock availability, and operational standards.
