Description
We are seeking a JIRA Administrator to join our team in Montreal, Canada. As a JIRA Administrator, you will be responsible for administering, evolving, and governing the JIRA environment used for the production of Rainbow Six Siege.
You will work closely with production, development, quality control, and tool teams to maintain stable and consistent workflows. You will also contribute to the migration of JIRA Server to JIRA Cloud.
Key responsibilities:
- Administer JIRA projects, including workflows, permissions, screens, custom fields, and configurations
- Collect change requests from teams and propose solutions that meet governance standards
- Design, maintain, and improve JIRA automations related to production processes
- Administer extension modules and integrations necessary for daily activities
- Regularly review JIRA usage and ensure data consistency, project structures, and practices
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices, and support teams in adopting new standards
- Resolve complex issues related to workflows, permissions, automations, or integrations
- Prepare for migration to JIRA Cloud by reviewing existing configurations, risks, interdependencies, and opportunities for simplification
- Contribute to JIRA Cloud governance and migration activities
Requirements:
- Practical experience with JIRA administration in a production context
- Mastery of JIRA workflows, permissions, schemes, custom fields, screens, and automations
- Experience with reviewing and improving operational processes supported by JIRA
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex problems affecting multiple teams or systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with JIRA Server or JIRA Data Center migration to JIRA Cloud is an asset
- Knowledge of the Atlassian ecosystem and experience with ScriptRunner, JSU, Structure, Xray, Rich Filters, or similar tools is an asset
- Experience with JIRA integrations, APIs, Power BI, ShotGrid, or similar tools is an asset
