Description
We are seeking an EMEA Regional Test Engineer to join our team. As a Hybrid role, you will work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve and support test-related issues throughout the end-to-end manufacturing process
- Communicate and escalate issues to global teams and R&D
- Read and understand Customer's Intend Documents for every deal
- Provide recommendations on hardware repairs or replacements based on test output logs
- Support a zero-defect culture and First Pass Yield metrics
- Develop and implement test plans, schedules, and requirements for new and existing designs
- Lead a project team of test engineers and internal and outsourced testing partners
- Represent the test engineering team for larger and more complex development projects
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- Typically 4-6 years of experience
- Experience with testing tools, automation, and software packages
- Knowledge of Linux and Windows-based servers and services
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
