Description
As a Production Operator at 3M, you will have the opportunity to work on producing and assembling products in the plant. You will operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.
Responsibilities:
- Produce and assemble products in the plant
- Operate and maintain machinery, ensure production standards are met
- Finalize products and prepare them for shipping
- Observe all safety procedures and maintain a clean and safe work area
- Apply quality instructions and specifications
- Monitor the production or packing operation to ensure quality objectives are met
- Load/unload material into and from equipment
- Work as a team member through sharing information, problem-solving, and assisting others
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED or higher
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
Additional qualifications that could be helpful:
- Post-high school education
- Basic computer knowledge
