Description
This multipurpose position in patient care at Intermountain Health's Intermountain Medical Center involves a range of duties from basic patient care tasks under the direction of a licensed therapist to managing various operational activities within the department.
Essential Functions:
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of Intermountain Health, adhering to service standards.
- Check, order, and stock equipment and supplies.
- Clean, organise, and maintain equipment, including labelling and identifying existing equipment.
- Perform data entry for therapists and patient care purposes.
- Carry out routine office and clerical duties as assigned.
- Assist patients in safely using exercise equipment.
- Act as a medical chaperone for sensitive exams as required.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the therapist and manager.

Qualifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Basic Computer skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Need to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs.
- Frequent interactions requiring verbal communication and hearing.
- Manual dexterity for manipulating equipment.
- Ability to lift and transfer patients, and move supplies and equipment.
- Walking and assisting with transporting patients and obtaining supplies.
- May need to stand for extended periods.
The role offers a salary range of $18.40 - $23.92 per hour for 32 scheduled weekly hours. A comprehensive benefits package is also provided.
