Description
We are seeking a Consultant in Sexual and Reproductive Health and HIV to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will provide advice, screening, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with STIs, as well as support and develop pathways to facilitate integration of contraceptive and sexual health services.
The main duties of the job will include:
- Providing contraception clinics, training, and supervision
- Providing consultant advice and support to multidisciplinary teams working in ISRH clinics
- Reviewing complex cases requiring senior input
The trust is a university teaching NHS trust, and the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to training and teaching of medical trainees, medical students, and other staff groups.
The salary for this post is £113,565 to £150,569 per annum, and the post is permanent and full-time.
The successful candidate will be required to have:
- CCT in GUM, within 6 months of CCT in GUM or on a portfolio career pathway
- Evidence of clinical experience in both GUM and contraception
- Current UK professional registration
