The Responsible Business and Governance team is critical to Telstra Enterprise meeting its CF 30 strategy and objectives in an informed, transparent, and compliant manner.
An exciting and rewarding opportunity has become available for a highly motivated individual to join our team as Senior Specialist of Responsible Business and Governance to support the implementation of compliance and operational risk management controls that achieve Telstra Enterprise's strategic direction and growth aspirations.
You will assist in identifying and managing regulatory obligations, operational risks, and compliance.
As the Senior Specialist of Responsible Business and Governance, you will support management in identifying and managing risks effectively.
You will effectively manage compliance programs across our organisation, promoting compliant outcomes, mitigating risk, and protecting Telstra's reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide subject matter expertise and technical advice to internal stakeholders on all compliance-related matters.
- Assess and resolve potential issues/breaches and report outcomes to management and the Chief Risk Office.
- Contribute to establishing and fulfilling organisational compliance standards.
- Gather relevant sources of information and insights to understand various stakeholder needs and requirements.
- Apply deep technical and professional expertise to manage Telstra Enterprise's adherence to the company risk management framework programs and group policies.
- Contribute to ongoing technical self-development by researching regulatory bulletins and other sources of information.
- Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to build insights on risk and compliance issues.

- Deep understanding of Telstra's risk management program and compliance obligations.
- Proven experience in working with management to effectively implement risk and compliance management.
- Ability to provide pragmatic risk and compliance advice for implementing effective risk and compliance management.
