We are seeking a Corporate Lawyer with a focus on environmental law to join our legal department at Vattenfall. As a Corporate Lawyer with an environmental law focus at Vattenfall, you will work closely with the business and contribute your legal expertise to matters that have significant importance for our operations and investments.
Your responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on environmental law issues and permit processes
- Support Vattenfall's projects and operations with environmental law expertise
- Represent Vattenfall before courts and authorities
- Identify and assess environmental law risks, such as for project and investment decisions
- Contribute legal expertise in consultation and legislative matters
- Conduct internal training on environmental law
- Coordinate work with external legal advisors as needed
Qualifications:
- Law degree
- Several years of experience in qualified environmental law work, preferably around four-five years, e.g., from a law firm, court, company, or authority
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, in speech and writing
