Description
As a Customer Delivery Driver for Waitrose, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality produce and providing exceptional customer service to customers in Salisbury.
You will be driving a well-equipped, modern vehicle and will be expected to handle products and deliveries with care. You will also be required to interact with customers, handle any issues that may arise, and provide refunds when necessary.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service
- Handling products and deliveries with care
- Interacting with customers and resolving any issues
- Familiarising yourself with your delivery route
- Conducting safety checks on your vehicle
- Assisting with general warehouse tasks when not on the road
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full, valid UK manual car driving license (B-Category) with no more than 6 penalty points
- Excellent people skills and a friendly approach to customer service
- The ability to lift crates and move large cages (approximately no heavier than 18kg)
- To be 18 or older
In addition to your contractual pay of £14.31 per hour, you will also receive Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour for any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00.
The role is permanent, part-time, and requires 15 hours of work across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, including early starts, late finishes, and evenings.
