Description
We are seeking a Head of Technology for our Taiwan Branch, reporting to the TDI organization. As the local representative, you will oversee the local branch technology team, providing multiple aspects of onshore technology services covering application support, infrastructure, end-user technologies, and cybersecurity. You will maintain strong control over risk and regulatory portfolio and financial performance of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the TDI technology roadmap and strategy in DB Taiwan within agreed timeline and budget.
- Partner with local stakeholders to align business strategy and growth plan with available Technology services.
- Ensure the stability of technology availability covering local infrastructure, network, applications, and End-User experience.
- Inspire, supervise, and oversee the development of Taiwan Branch Technology team.
- Manage invoices from local technology vendors to ensure costs are aligned with budget.
- Partner with the CISO to enforce Zero-Trust models and ensure compliance with standards from DB Group, international bodies, and local banking regulations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or MBA with a focus on Tech Management.
- 15+ years in IT, with at least 5-8 years in a senior leadership role (VP, CTO, or Head of IT) specifically within the Banking or Financial Services sector.
- Solid understanding of technology in an enterprise context, spanning infrastructure, end-user and application services, cloud hosting, and AI.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.

- Solid knowledge of Taiwan banking regulations with respect to IT Services.
