Provider Network Strategy & Operations Internship

The Provider Network Strategy & Operations Internship experience is an 11-week full-time opportunity that starts on May 24th, 2027, and concludes on August 4th, 2027. This is a hybrid position with 3 days generally in the Hartford, CT office location and 2 days remote.

As a CVS Health Corporate Intern you will participate in:

The hourly rate is $26/hr with 40 hours/week, no work on July 4th, and two days of paid leave. Additionally, our corporate interns have an increased likelihood to receive an offer for a future role with CVS Health.

You Will Gain Valuable Work Experience and Participate In:

• Supporting provider contract management and negotiation activities through research, analysis, documentation, and tracking of key deliverables
• Developing project management skills by coordinating timelines, milestones, governance activities, and strategic initiatives
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support provider network priorities and operational objectives
• Assisting in the development of executive-ready reports, presentations, and business updates for leadership teams
• Learning how healthcare organizations manage provider relationships, network performance, and value-based care arrangements
• Creating and maintaining reporting tools, dashboards, and tracking mechanisms that support business decision-making
• Participating in governance and Joint Operating Committee activities to gain exposure to provider partnership management
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes, reporting capabilities, and operational efficiency across the organization

Required Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree
• Have an anticipated graduation date between September 2027 and June 2028
• Have a major relevant to the position such as Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, Health Management, Finance, Economics, Management, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have demonstrated leadership experience
• Have internship, work, or project experience in a related field
• Show strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have an interest in obtaining a full-time position within CVS Health upon graduation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Microsoft Office applications
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or other AI-enabled productivity tools
• Interest in provider network management, healthcare operations, healthcare administration, or business strategy
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and manage multiple priorities
