Description
As a Store Manager at Sainsbury's Supermarket in Dumfries, you will lead a large, complex operation, ensuring the success of the store and delivering on the company's purpose to make good food, joyful, accessible, and affordable for everyone, every day.
The salary for this position will be dependent upon your experience as well as the store size, complexity, and location, with a starting salary from £37,450.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering brilliant customer experiences and improving the customer journey
- Leading a management team and hundreds of colleagues to ensure excellent service standards and customer outcomes
- Using data and insight to inform longer-term planning, improve performance, and drive customer experience
- Managing complex employee relations cases, including dismissals, and applying HR policies with fairness and integrity
- Leading through change, delivering high engagement, and managing team wellbeing
Requirements:
- Significant experience leading an operation with accountabilities for delivering customer, financial, and organisational outcomes
- Established leadership skills, with experience role-modelling excellent service and business values
- Ability to use data and insight to inform planning and drive improvements
- Experience managing complex ER cases, including dismissals
- Ability to lead through change and manage team wellbeing
