Description
We are seeking a Barback to join our team at Ludlow House in New York.
As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders to provide exceptional service to our members and guests.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining the bar area, ensuring it is clean, organised, and well-stocked
- Assisting bartenders with serving guests, managing cash and credit transactions, and handling customer queries
- Preparing garnishes, juices, and other essentials for cocktails
- Monitoring inventory levels and restocking supplies as needed
- Working collaboratively with the bar team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- 1+ year of experience working in a food and beverage environment, or a strong desire to learn and develop your skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and move quickly around the bar area
