Description
We are seeking a Receptionist to join our team at Bupa The Arkley Care Home, located at 140 Barnet Rd, Arkley, Barnet EN5 3LJ.
The Arkley Care Home is a purpose-built facility offering high-quality nursing and residential care packages for both short and long-term stays. Our carers are experienced in providing palliative and post-operative convalescence care, as well as supporting younger adults with physical disabilities.
As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors to the home. Your responsibilities will include:
- Acting as the first point of contact for all visitors to the home
- Taking responsibility for managing new enquiries
- Providing advice and support both face-to-face and over the phone
- Conducting show-arounds within the care home
- Supporting the Home Manager and Administrator with clerical duties such as maintaining paperwork and filing
- Dealing with enquiries in a timely manner and ensuring daily and weekly tasks are completed
To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience as a receptionist, providing excellent customer service, and a friendly manner both face-to-face and over the phone. You should be approachable, organised, and able to build strong relationships with residents, their families, and internal teams.

The salary for this role is £27,248 per annum (full-time equivalent), with a pro-rata salary of £5,449.60 per annum.
