Description
Syneos Health is seeking an Analytical Scientist to join their team. As an Analytical Scientist, you will perform all activities related to processing and analyzing biological samples. You will document activities related to sample analysis, initiate analysis runs using appropriate instruments and software, and follow up on result analysis to find solutions to bioanalytical issues. You will also assist in eliminating chemical and biological waste, cleaning laboratory equipment and instruments, and perform support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all activities related to processing and analyzing biological samples
- Document activities related to sample analysis and assist in verifying various documents
- Initiate analysis runs using the appropriate instruments and software
- Follow up on result analysis and assist in finding solutions to bioanalytical issues
- Assist in eliminating chemical and biological waste generated by laboratory employees and help clean laboratory equipment and instruments
- Perform support tasks to meet the needs of laboratory users
- Ensure compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Operating Guidelines
Qualification Requirements:
- Bachelor's or College Degree in Science
- Good computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and analytical software
- Basic understanding of analytical chemistry requirements
- English level (Quebec specific); required bilingualism includes understanding simple messages and following basic instructions
- Relative alternate certification may be considered acceptable
