Store Manager In Training (SMIT)

The Store Manager In Training (SMIT) job is a development-focused role that prepares you for a CVS Store Manager position.

As a SMIT, you will participate in a 16-week self-paced, collaborative training program that includes virtual and hands-on learning experiences.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Communicating effectively with your team
• Providing high-quality customer care
• Executing merchandising strategies to drive store sales growth
• Managing store inventory and assets to maintain profitability

We expect our SMITs to:

• Actively engage with their leader in Key Learning Experiences
• Support their store as a management team member
• Engage colleagues in support of the company's purpose of helping people on their path to better health
• Be willing to accept promotion roles within their market

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience
• Retail management experience or experience as a CVS Supervisor
• Ability to work a varying schedule
• Willingness to accept a promotion to Store Manager role at any location in the designated market

The typical pay range for this role is $18.50 - $26.25 per hour.
