We are seeking an experienced Tooling & Automation Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), AVP to join our team in Pune, India.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering significant components of engineering solutions to accomplish business goals efficiently and reliably. You will actively participate in the design of solution components, investigate re-use, and ensure that solutions are fit for purpose, reliable, maintainable, and can be integrated successfully into the overall solution and environment with clear, robust, and well-tested deployments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Apply technical solutions to improve the stability of production environments.
- Resolve events and complex issues with an awareness of overlapping and different technology areas.
- Take overall responsibility for the resolution of incidents and problems within the team.
- Partner with product development to ensure that business needs for each targeted segment are incorporated into product design and branding approaches.
- Identify where IT designs can be strengthened and provide value to the bank.
- Provide technical delivery governance on all related IT platforms and deliver technical expertise for support in outage coordination.
- Embrace a Continuous Service Improvement approach to drive efficiencies and remove repetition to streamline support activities.
- Provide Level 3 or Advanced support for technical infrastructure components.
- Perform disaster recovery testing on a periodic basis in line with agreed service levels.
- Provide support for the release of changes into the production environment for managing and improving the operational run books and supporting documentation.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in IT or Computer Science-related discipline (equivalent diploma or technical faculty)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Engineer specializing in SRE, Production Support, ITIL, Cloud Technology, monitoring, and automation
- Demonstrable experience in upgrading, installing, configuring, and supporting some or all of the technologies employed within Deutsche Bank's Tooling & automation application stack, including SRE, Production Specialist, Automation, SQL, ITIL/ITSM, Nexthink Infinity, Power Platform and Power Automate, Powershell Scripting, GCP, GitHub and GitHub Action, Ansible, DevOps, and CI/CD
- Experience playing a leading role in a global level 3 SRE, Production Support, Automation, and working within an ITIL framework
- Experience supporting complex application and infrastructure domains
- Working knowledge of standard tools (Service-Now, Confluence, JIRA)
