Description
As an Optical Manager at Asda, you will oversee the entire operation of the optical department, ensuring high-quality patient service. Your responsibilities include managing a team of Optometrists and Optical assistants, overseeing compliance processes and procedures, reviewing sales forecasting and department targets, and dealing with customer queries.
You will be supported by Asda's Home Office teams, who can offer clinical support, and a team of Area Managers who will work alongside you to get the most out of your role every day.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a fully qualified dispensing optician registered with the GOC, on track to meet the statutory points requirement for CPD, confident in coaching others, and able to provide excellent customer and patient care.
