Description
We are seeking a Senior Architect to manage and deliver technical architectural design information for assigned projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and delivering technical architectural design information
- Producing design outputs within a BIM environment using Autodesk Revit
- Applying sound knowledge of construction techniques
- Reviewing and performing quality checks on design packages
- Identifying BIM-related issues and proposing mitigation strategies
- Assessing design information for potential health and safety risks
- Coordinating architectural data with multidisciplinary project teams
- Contributing to design meetings and preparing documentation for presentations
The ideal candidate will have strong technical design knowledge and skills in UK construction methodology, experience working as part of an architectural design team, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
As a Senior Architect with WSP, you will:
- Develop, refine, and review models and drawings under the guidance of the Project Lead or senior team members
- Support the creation and refinement of project design concepts, project models, sketches, research materials, reports, and coordinated construction documents
- Work on multiple projects, exploring creative approaches to achieving design solutions while meeting deadlines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external consultants
- Prepare and modify architectural drawings
- Support the development of project scope, plans, and service documentation
- Produce 2D/3D presentations, models, drawings, and visual renderings
- Integrate sustainable design principles into project work
