Retail Store Associate

As a Retail Store Associate at CVS Health, you'll play a meaningful role in our family, working both independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others.

Essential Functions:

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs and resolving potential service issues
• Focus on customers with a warm and friendly greeting, maintaining eye contact, and offering help when needed
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions with precision
• Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, and updating pricing information
• Support opening and closing store activities, and provide customer support to all departments
• Assist pharmacy personnel when needed and embrace new CVS services and loyalty programs

Required Qualifications:

• At least 16 years of age
• Physical Requirements:
• Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods
• Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs of force occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently
• Visual acuity to view computer terminals, read, and inspect small parts

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required

Anticipated Weekly Hours:

• 20 hours per week

• Part-time

Shift Flexibility:

• Monday: 3 pm - 8 pm
• Tuesday: 3 pm - 8 pm
• Wednesday: 3 pm - 8 pm
• Thursday: 3 pm - 8 pm
• Friday: 3 pm - 8 pm
• Saturday: 9 am - 6 pm
• Sunday: 9 am - 5 pm

Weekend Shift Frequency:

• Every other weekend required

Pay Range:

• $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
