Security Engineer, Corporate Security

About the role

Corporate Security protects Anthropic's environment, including employee devices, identities, collaboration tools, and company data. As a Security Engineer, you will drive significant parts of this work end-to-end, setting technical direction and turning it into shipped tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Drive endpoint hardening across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS
• Extend device-trust and zero-trust access controls
• Build automation and integrations for scaling with the company
• Lead SaaS and identity governance
• Partner with the wider Security team, IT, and Engineering on telemetry, detections, and shared standards

Minimum qualifications

• Hands-on endpoint security engineering experience on macOS, Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS
• Proficiency in Python and scripting languages
• Working knowledge of identity and access management, SaaS security, and zero-trust access
• Threat-modeling judgment and ability to scope problems
• Care for Anthropic's mission and corporate security's role in it

Preferred qualifications

• Experience defining security program scope and choosing tooling
• Experience shipping enforcement changes to large user populations
• Endpoint depth across multiple platforms
• Mobile security experience
• Experience bringing security governance to modern SaaS environments
• Configuration-as-code and infrastructure-as-code experience

Logistics

• Annual salary: $320,000-$405,000 USD
• Minimum education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Required field of study: Relevant to the role
• Minimum years of experience: Correlates with internal job level requirements
• Location-based hybrid policy: 25% office time expected
