Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Travel Procurement Professional to join our team in Fuschl am See, Austria.
You will be responsible for managing global travel procurement initiatives, including strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier performance analysis.
Key areas of focus will include:
- Strategic Sourcing & Contract Management: leading and supporting global sourcing initiatives, defining service requirements, KPIs, and service-level agreements, and managing contracts
- Global Hotel & Ground Transportation Programmes: managing our global preferred hotel programme, ensuring negotiated rates and preferred hotels are correctly loaded and maintained across booking tools and global distribution systems
- Supplier Performance & Market Insights: monitoring supplier performance, identifying opportunities to improve service quality, and supporting sourcing decisions
- Travel Technology & Online Booking: coordinating functional and user acceptance testing, documenting issues, and tracking them through to resolution
- Travel Operations & Stakeholder Support: acting as a point of contact for travellers and travel arrangers, resolving operational escalations, and providing negotiation support for meeting and event-related travel requirements
- Reporting, Communication & Knowledge Sharing: preparing monthly travel spend and hotel reports, supplier performance dashboards, and actionable recommendations
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A completed higher secondary education and a relevant commercial or vocational qualification in business administration, procurement, tourism, travel management, or a comparable field
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in strategic procurement, corporate travel management, category management, or a comparable international environment
- Experience with sourcing processes, commercial negotiations, contracts, statements of work, KPIs, and service-level agreements
- Strong knowledge of global hotel programmes, hotel sourcing, negotiated-rate loading, and global distribution systems
- Excellent analytical, reporting, and presentation skills, combined with clear communication and effective stakeholder management
We offer a competitive salary package, with a minimum salary of €2362 gross per month, and a comprehensive benefits package.
