As an Engineering Manager at Lendable, you will lead one of the teams delivering our Zable App, used by over 1 million customers on iOS and Android. You will act as both a visionary and a hands-on leader, driving the team’s delivery efficiency, technical excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Own and optimise the delivery process to ensure features reach customers efficiently
- Collaborate with Product Managers to balance feature development with technical improvements
- Build and develop a high-performing team by conducting regular assessments and implementing clear career progression pathways
- Drive technical strategy in alignment with business goals
- Ensure high-quality output by establishing best practices in quality assurance and incident management
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science or relevant experience in software engineering and technical management
- 5+ years of experience in engineering leadership
- Strong understanding of the mobile app development process and experience managing cross-functional backend and frontend teams
- Demonstrated ability to balance feature delivery with technical improvements
- Strong business acumen and a proactive approach to gaining deep business context
