Product Manager, Cyber Security

About the role

You'll lead Anthropic's cybersecurity product, setting strategy, deciding what to build and where to partner, shipping products, and representing the company to CISOs, security vendors, and researchers.

Key responsibilities

• Set Anthropic's cybersecurity product portfolio strategy and be accountable for results.
• Ship security products, including vulnerability discovery and remediation in Claude Code.
• Represent Anthropic externally with CISOs, vendors, researchers, governments, and press.
• Partner with research to improve model security capabilities.
• Work with safeguards and policy on model access for Cybersecurity.
• Keep cross-functional threads moving across research, engineering, sales, safeguards, policy, legal, and comms.

Minimum qualifications

• Meaningful experience in security, building security products, running a security team, or doing security work.
• Experience building products or businesses from scratch and taking them to paying customers.
• Strong product judgment and technical depth to assess security findings.
• Good communication skills for CISOs, researchers, and executives.

Preferred qualifications

• 12+ years of experience building and shipping products, especially in security.
• Fluency with AI products and evaluations.
• Technical background or experience working with infrastructure/platform teams.
• Strong technical judgment with ability to go deep on security and infrastructure topics.

Logistics

• Annual salary: $385,000-$460,000 USD.
• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Location-based hybrid policy: 25% office time.
• Visa sponsorship available.
