Description
We are seeking an Estates Technician - Electrical to join our team of 33 engineers at East Surrey Hospital. The successful candidate will work in partnership with other teams throughout the Trust, performing highly complex fault finding and maintenance on all aspects of engineering plant/equipment.
The position requires a high degree of flexibility and a proactive approach to work, with a diverse range of expertise in all specialised engineering trades, specialist knowledge in Electrical, Mechanical, Medical Gases, Air conditioning, and Nurse Call systems.
The post will be based at East Surrey Hospital, but may involve some across-sites work. The successful candidate will work with and alongside other qualified engineers in a highly complex environment, requiring fault finding and maintenance on all aspects of engineering plant/equipment, within stringent statutory guidelines.
Main duties of the job
- Perform highly complex fault finding and maintenance on all aspects of engineering plant/equipment
- Work within stringent statutory guidelines
- Good plumbing and engineering skills in addition to the mandatory electrical skills and qualifications will be advantageous
