At Braze, we're a customer engagement platform that helps brands deliver great customer experiences. We're seeking a Senior Product Designer, Data to join our Data Division team.
What you'll do You'll help shape the future of how customers model, send, and manage data on our platform. Your work will directly impact how customers integrate with and send information to Braze, spanning areas like the user data model, custom attributes and events, data ingestion, and catalog data.
Responsibilities
- Define and design high-impact features to improve how customers integrate with and send information to Braze
- Design experiences that allow marketers to implement cross-channel, digital experiences and quickly launch their customer engagement strategies
- Collaborate closely with product managers, UX researchers, product analysts, technical writers, engineers, and fellow product designers
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions
- Create high-fidelity prototypes and detailed interaction specifications
- Contribute to and evolve Braze's design system
- Present design concepts and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership
Who you are
- 5+ years of product design experience with a strong foundation in designing complex digital products
- Demonstrated experience working within established design systems
- Approach design challenges with a systems mindset
- Your design process is grounded in user research and evidence-based decision making
- Excel at cross-functional collaboration
- Strong craft skills across interaction design, visual design, and prototyping
Bonus if you have
- Experience designing marketing automation, customer engagement, or campaign management tools
- Background in enterprise SaaS products
- Experience designing integration or data-mapping experiences
- Familiarity with how data flows between systems
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Strong fluency with AI tools for prototyping and exploring design concepts
