Description
We are seeking an Automation Engineer Associate Analyst to join our team in Bengaluru, India. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring quality and on-time delivery of test planning and execution activities for new or modified applications/systems across multiple platforms.
Main Duties / Responsibilities:
- Deliver the QE Automation roadmap for each team
- Build and maintain automation for critical and complex business applications
- Create test automation for in-sprint and regression testing
- Execute automation scripts and report bugs
- Determine priority for test cases and create effective execution plans with maximum coverage
- Participate in PI and Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
- Track and report automation progress as per the plan
- Develop skills in new automation tools to improve automation penetration
- Contribute towards implementation of new ideas and solutions
- Mentor and develop junior resources
- Adhere to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices and help drive changes to achieve more efficiency
- Identify and support Automation and DevOps opportunities
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- 2-5 years of experience in a system quality environment
- Experience in QE - Test Automation and Selenium with Cucumber automation tool
- Knowledge of automation of web-based applications and APIs
- Knowledge of Java scripting to develop automation scripts
- Good knowledge of working in all phases of Test Cycle
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of web automation using other automation tools and frameworks
- Experience in Python or C# coding
- Knowledge of implementation of CICD pipeline using Jenkins/Azure DevOps
