Description
We are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join Rhodes Wood Hospital, Hatfield, Hertfordshire, a service for CYPMHS Eating Disorders. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for individual and group interventions, diagnostic and cognitive assessments, MDT working, and risk assessments. You will also facilitate staff reflective practice sessions and design and deliver training.
The ideal candidate will have BPS recognised psychology degrees, HCPC registration, Chartered Psychologist status, and appropriate post-graduate qualifications. You will be an approved supervisor within the guidelines of the BPS and relevant division, have understanding of evidence-based psychological practice, and experience of applying psychological knowledge to a clinical setting.

Responsibilities:
- Participate in the assessment of referrals and provide initial assessment service users referred to the service
- Undertake high-quality direct and indirect specialist psychological interventions and make autonomous clinical decisions
- Work therapeutically with service users with complex presentations
- Formulate and implement plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients' mental health needs
- Maintain high standards of care in all areas of practice
Requirements:
- BPS recognised psychology degrees
