Description
We are seeking a band 7 Corporate Services Manager (Governance) to join our team. The Corporate Governance team plays a vital role in ensuring the SEL/SWL ICBs operate with integrity, accountability and transparency. The role will assist in supporting the Lead Corporate Services Manager (Governance) and the professional governance team. Working closely with senior leaders, Board members and system partners, you will help shape and strengthen governance arrangements that support effective decision making, organisational assurance and statutory compliance.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Lead Corporate Services Manager (Governance) in ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive corporate governance function including Board support
- Line management responsibility for other members of the team
- Providing expert advice on governance matters
- Promoting a positive governance culture, sharing best practice, supporting organisational development and ensuring the organisation remains compliant with statutory, regulatory and NHS requirements
The successful candidate will be highly organised, analytical and capable of influencing across organisational boundaries whilst managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality outcomes.
