At CVS Health, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in healthcare. As a US Non-Accredited Foreign Graduate, you will be part of a program designed to help you develop your skills and prepare for a Pharmacist role.
The program involves completing a mixed modality learning plan under the direction of a preceptor, which will help you deepen your understanding of pharmacy practice and patient care scenarios, build business acumen, and develop leadership skills.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to safe and effective operations of the pharmacy
- Following pharmacy workflow procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Providing empathetic and genuine care to patients
- Offering to counsel patients and fielding medical questions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
- Taking telephonic prescriptions and clarifying prescriptions with prescribers
- Maintaining self-awareness and providing coaching and training to pharmacy team members
- Completing basic inventory activities
- Contributing to a high-performing team and being receptive to feedback
- Remaining flexible for scheduling and business needs
You will also have the opportunity to support immunizations, including completing additional licensure and training requirements, educating patients about vaccines, and monitoring for adverse reactions.
The typical pay range for this role is: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour.
