Description
The Switching Solutions team at Mastercard is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to provide innovative, secure, and reliable solutions for core Mastercard transaction switching systems.
In this role, you will work with various product teams to understand their business needs and translate them into business and functional requirements. You will collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather estimates, create designs, and drive the delivery of business and functional requirements. As the voice of the customer, you will write requirements, review designs, and contribute to technical and product documentation. Additionally, you will continuously monitor the delivery of requirements through their entire lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has experience in the payments or financial services industry, with intermediate knowledge of how payments are processed. You should have a proven track record of taking ideas from inception to production and delivering high-quality results in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities. Strong communication and partnership skills are essential, as you will work with stakeholders across the organization, including product, engineering, and executives.
Key responsibilities:
- Work with product teams to understand business needs and translate them into requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to gather estimates, create designs, and drive delivery
- Act as the voice of the customer in writing requirements and reviewing designs
- Monitor delivery of requirements through their entire lifecycle
- Facilitate calls, create and maintain documentation, and answer customer inquiries
- Manage multiple projects at once in different stages
- Follow Mastercard's PM-T best practices and contribute lessons learned
- Continuously think of new ways to solve problems and create efficiencies
Requirements:
- Experience in payments or financial services industry
- Intermediate knowledge of payment processing
- Proven track record of taking ideas from inception to production
- Ability to deliver high-quality results in fast-paced environments
- Strong communication and partnership skills
- Experience working with agile delivery methodologies
