kW Mission Critical Engineering, a WSP company, is seeking an Assistant Vice President, Project Manager for our Milwaukee, WI office.
This role involves leading a diverse group of engineers from project initiation through completion with minimal oversight. Responsibilities include:
- Leading multi-disciplinary teams through completion of multiple simultaneous projects
- Preparing project work plans, proposals, and schedules
- Managing client relationships and expectations
- Addressing change management matters promptly and professionally
- Maintaining awareness of project budget and key performance indicators
- Leading business development initiatives and providing mentoring to team members
The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience in project management, exceptional written and oral communication skills, and experience working in a client-facing role.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of experience in Project and/or Program Management
- Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency with computer office productivity and project management software tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project or Program Management Professional certification
- Experience in an engineering consulting environment
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, project management
