Description
We are seeking a Systems/Software Engineer III to work on a hybrid schedule with an average of 2 days per week from an HPE office.
As a Systems/Software Engineer III, you will work closely with product marketing, software, and hardware development teams to review design specifications, develop functional test plans, execute test cases, report issues, debug issues with development for resolution, and automate test cases.
Responsibilities:
- Review design specifications and develop functional test plans for review
- Execute test cases, report issues in bug track system, debug issues with development for resolution, and automate test cases
- Integrate automated scripts for regression
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering with 6+ years of experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong programming fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, GoLang
- Understanding of operating systems (Linux) and computer networking concepts
- Experience in various test methodologies (white box, black box, solution testing)
- Knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, BGP, IS-IS, Multicast, MPLS, RSVP, L2VPN, L3VPN, VPLS)
- Experience with FreeBSD/LINUX/VM environments
- Ability to be a fast learner, proactive, and able to handle multiple tasks efficiently while adapting to existing and newer technologies

The expected salary/wage range for this position is $125,500 - $253,000 per year.
