Description
We are seeking a Distributor Partner Specialist to join our team in Abuja, Nigeria. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring effective execution of Red Bull Distribution and Trade Marketing targets through effective management of the Distribution Partners in the assigned region.
Responsibilities:
- Support the business planning process with the Line Manager and Distribution Partner (DP)
- Develop and implement the Trade Marketing Calendar and Commercial Annex with the Line Manager and DP
- Track and report key performance indicators related to the Trade Marketing Calendar and Commercial Annex
- Build strong relationships with all departments within the DP and support them in driving, managing, and evaluating Red Bull trade initiatives
- Ensure DP implementation of Perfect Store standards per channel
- Coach and work with the DP Sales Force to produce executional excellence
- Supply data for Red Bull internal reporting processes
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the DP to prepare the Trade Marketing Plan and Commercial Annex in close coordination with the Line Manager
- Support the DP in achieving mutually agreed-upon Commercial Annex and Trade Marketing Targets
- Educate the DP team on Brand History and drive Product Trust and Understanding
- Train the DP team on Perfect Store definition by channel and outlet type
- Identify gaps in execution and distribution and prepare an action plan
- Enhance the skills of DP by conducting on-the-job training and classroom training
- Track actual performance against mutually agreed-upon KPIs and share with the Line Manager and DP Sales Manager
- Undertake systematic, frequent, and continuous market visits to points of sale across the markets
Requirements:
- University degree
- Proven operational achiever with strong business acumen
- Excellent influencer with negotiation skills
- Highly numerate and analytical
- Clear and proven ability to implement successful trade marketing plans
- Excellent communication skills, including presentation and training ability
- Creative mind, outgoing personality, and friendly
- Able to work independently with responsibility and be organized - result-oriented
- Experience with basic administrative programs, Windows, Internet Browsers, Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- In-depth knowledge of trade and competitive environment
- Fluency in English
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the consumer goods industry (beverage preferred)
- Knowledge of Abuja, Lokoja & Jos open market/off-trade business environment
