Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed GP to join our friendly, supportive practice team at Dalston Practice in East London. You will work as a salaried GP, with a fixed workload of 16 patient consultations per session, and a competitive salary of £13,000 to £14,000 per session. The practice offers medical indemnity cover, NHS pensions, six weeks of holiday, and one week of study leave pro rata.
Job Summary The successful candidate will work within our clinical team to deliver high-quality care to our patients through various consultation methods. The role involves undertaking normal GP duties, including surgery, telephone, video, and online consultations, referring patients to other organisations, and maintaining accurate clinical records.
Main Duties of the Job
- Conduct surgery, telephone, video, and online consultations
- Refer patients to other organisations where clinically indicated
- Action correspondence and clinical letters
- Review and action test results
- Prescribe in accordance with patients' needs, adhering to guidance
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Reports and medicals
- QOF/local contract work as agreed
