Description
Spire Shawfair Park Hospital in Edinburgh is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their Theatre team on a bank basis.
The successful candidate will provide support services to Nurses and Consultants during procedures, assist scrub nurses, provide patient support, open sterile packs, check instruments, and assist with ordering equipment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing a range of support services to Nurses and Consultants during procedures
- Assisting scrub nurses during procedures
- Providing patient support within the anaesthetics room
- Opening sterile packs
- Checking instruments
- Assisting with ordering equipment
- Maintaining quality care delivery
- Understanding and contributing towards infection control
The ideal candidate will have experience working in Theatres or in care, be willing to learn and develop, and possess good communication skills and written English.
