Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised ICT Technician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line IT desktop support, managing and maintaining our network and systems, and providing technical support to the whole school.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong customer service focus
- Ability to prioritise effectively
- Proven experience in first and second line IT desktop support
- Ability to work in a team and report to a line manager
- Ability to use own initiative
- Relevant qualifications
In terms of technical skills, you will need to have a good working knowledge of:
- Windows Server 2022 – Active Directory User and Group Management, GPO, DHCP, DNS
- Windows 11
- MS Office 2024 – (MS Office Suite including Word & Excel)
- General knowledge of Office 365
- Knowledge and experience of Google Apps for Education
- Working experience of School MIS system (SIMS)
- General Knowledge of Virtual Machine (Hyper-V manager)
- General knowledge of Wireless Network system (Ruckus and UniFi - Ubiquiti)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) - not essential
- General Web Publishing

The salary for this role is £39,519 - £40,575 per annum.
